00:00:46♪♪ so they packed up the family car ♪♪

00:00:52♪♪ they moved to birdwell island and found many new friends ♪♪

00:12:20You wanna hear a speckle story, [ruff] ha ha. I thought so.

00:12:29Today's story is speckle and the old wagon.
00:12:35One day when spele and his friends were playing, speckle saw something behind a tree.
00:12:47They gathered sponges and buckets of soapy water and went to work.
00:12:52Now it was time to paint the wagon.
00:12:54Ravi wanted to paint it purple.
00:12:56But luna wanted pea green.
00:12:59Reba's favorite color was blue.
00:13:02And darnell liked bright red.
00:13:05[Arguing] speckled wanted everyone to be happy.
00:13:14So together they painted it all the colors of the rainbow.
00:13:19Then off they went down the grassy hill in their wonderful rainbow wagon.

00:17:31Last time we had a storm, the library was flooded from the waves!
00:17:35Do you think this storm is going to make the waves that high again, miss carrington?

00:17:42Maybe it'll turn into a hurricane with lots of rain and really strong winds that blow things all around, like-- like--like that!

00:20:11Well, I think if we can get this seawall built in time, everything should be just fine.
00:20:17We'll have to dig up plenty of sand and dirt.
00:20:20We'll need it to make the wall high enough to protect it from the waves.

00:20:31I wish we had a few more diggers to help.

00:25:58And then, when we're done, we read the book back to them.
